I just tot you guys mite find this interesting- this was a previous week's experiment: Guinea Pig's ileum (small intestine) immersed in McEwen's solution and aerated with carbogen (95% O2 5% CO2).. the experiment was to add Acetylcholine and histamine and watch the ileum contract- at least thats the simplified story..but yea... the ileum contracted so much the crap extruded out from the ends..
