2. Use your hands to knead the dough thoroughly
3. Add Vanilla essence and continue mixing
4. Depending on how fat you want to make your friends or how fast u want them to get diabetes, add a corresponding quantity of Macadamia, Wallnuts and Choc Chips and mix
5. With cupped hands, roll them into little balls and placed them on a bake paper lined tray with sufficient space
6. Bake for 15min
7. Remove and cool on a rack
8. Search for your skinny friends and give it to them on the pretext of goodwill..
9. Laugh at them after they eaten it
10. If it doesn't work, repeat steps 1-9 again..
I feel like I've achieved something today.. I did my own alterations to a cookie mix recipe and the end result turned out to be quite successful- a cookie that has a crunchy crust but a soft fluffy fluffy interior impregnated with treasures to increase one's "prosperity" aka. adiposity.. great sabotage for skinny people :)
Anyway, I'm feeling better today.. after a day of doing my scientific paper readings in the library, I decided to reward myself with a baking time.. It was a nice and warm sunny day.. this's the final week of winter- I guess a good omen: cold and miserable times dont last.. warm and sunshine filled days are up ahead.. thats something really to look forward to..
Heard a 25yr old army Captain- OCS platoon commander, died of a heart attack after running the Army Half Marathon the other day.. collapsing at the finish line of the race.. I feel most sorry for him.. and for his family.. yet.. if I could have one wish, I would want to go into his mind and see his thoughts thru the whole run.. what could have motivated a person to run so hard- even to the point of his own demise? what was he thinking? how did he feel? why did he do it? I guess the most important question to me is- what drove him?
As wierd as it may sound, I admire this person.. I am inspired by him.. and I trully wish he didn't have to pay the price of his pursuit with his life.. Whilst many would call it sheer stupidity and foolishness.. I feel that his courage and perseverance was truly uncommon.. he so willingly endured it even to the point of death... he must have believed in something or had a dream to achieve.. if it was a matter of fitness, he wouldn't have collapsed at the finish line.. It kinda fits the story of how the marathon came about in the first place.. the Greeks were fighting against some other bad people at a place called Marathon and they defeated the bad guys.. so they sent a runner to return to the king to bring the good news.. the runner ran for 4 days and when he reached, he brought the message of victory, then he collapsed and died.. quite strange isnt it?
At least what I want to extract from this really unfortunate mishap is a lesson on resolve.. and determination.. and also at the same time.. balance it out with knowing limits.. and listening carefully to your body.. determination and a resolve of steel.. yet modulating that with prudence.. like they say: Passion gets you there.. Obsession gets you killed.. I want to apply this paradigm into my studies and life..
It will be my turn at the end of the year to run the Standard Chartered half marathon- 21km.. as trivial as it may sound, it is a dream to me.. something I have been and am training for.. to show myself that I can do it if I just put my heart to it... and to hang on even tho its tough.. it is an experience that I want.. to me, 21km doesn't decide who's faster or not- it tests one's endurance.. and the winners are those who cross the finishing line regardless of timing- because the victory is in conquering yourself and hauling your ass across the finish line..
I'll make sure by the end of the year I'll at least be able to haul my ass across the finish line...

Ken! YYou're cookies are awesome, can you keep giving them to your slightly chubby neighbours in the hopes that they will get fatter? I'm sure they wouldn't mind at all :P!
